Everything starts out in seed form. From human life and all the true blessings of God. God gives to us in seed form often times as a simple idea or a simple solution to a complex problem. But Satan has sown his seeds into the hearts and minds of men as well. And those seeds are anti-seed although being seeds themselves. They start out as seeds but when fully formed become weeds whos job it is to choke the seeds by stealing all the water, nutrients, and sunlight.
So when I encounter a person that has no respect for a penny I immediately know that I will be hard press to get them to respect a dollar. At least until I can convince them to change their minds and overall way of thinking about money and what it is. We tend to overlook what makes up the dollar for the illusion of the dollar itself. People like this will often times miss out on many things in life like failing to enjoy the journey in an all-out effort to arrive at the destination.
The attached picture in this article explains it best. On the left side of the photo is just green coffee seeds in their natural form. If you were to see them in a jar by themselves raw you would not see them as having much value if any at all. But when they are roasted to perfection they become coffee beans and depending on their origins they can become extremely valuable especially being one of the world's highest-grossing products only second to oil. It's all in what you see.
The point I am trying to get at here is that if and when we don't learn or teach ourselves to place the proper value on things in life when they are in their smallest forms or beginning stages we will never understand all that life has to offer. God starts with seeds with every intention of giving that seed an opportunity to be valued and given time to be nourished to grow into all the potential it has. The potential that was in the seed the whole time.
It is the same way with money. If you don't respect a penny on the ground you will never have the ability to respect a million dollars in your bank account. Wisdom has a job to do and that is to offer those who do not despise small things or humble beginnings an altogether different experience in life. It's just the way it is. And frankly, I would not have it any other way.
