Why, How and When to Lend Money – Money Is A Defense
Why, How and When to Lend Money

Money is not a never-ending resource. Our governments know precisely how much of a supply we have at any given time. They're also able to understand for the most part where that money is or who's got control of it. For this reason, there is a constant war going own for money and wealth. That war happens to have a name and its been going on since the first trade was conducted. That war is called BUSINESS.

Today we see business as a friendly mutual exchange between to or more people. We smile at the cashier, as we hand them our money and they smile back as they take it and tuck it away into the cash register for safekeeping. Although billions of these types of transactions take place every day make no mistake about it, this is war. Albeit a civilized one, war nonetheless. Take away the tool in which is used to make this exchange peaceful (MONEY) and the weapons will come out. The whole reason why God created money in the first place will become evident quick fast and in a hurry.

I say all of that to say your money is a precious commodity because it represents your life and the time you spent to earn it. Whether you receive minimum wage our a million dollars an hour doesn't matter its still your life force in the form of metal, plastic or paper/cloth. This is why it is vitally important to know why, how and when to give it away. I tell my clients that every dollar you earn is a soldier in your army and its there to defend you. Every time you give one away, that's one less soldier in your army to fight for you and protect your lifestyle. so, you must be certain of who you give your money to because you're strengthening their military each time.

There is a time to give money away, and there is a time to lend it. People often ask me when should they do either and I have developed a hard and fast rule for this. "Give to the Needed and Lend to the Greedy." Now please allow me to explain. As someone who has worked in law enforcement my whole career, I have had the opportunity to work closely with people from all walks of life on a daily bases. This has afforded me to see the truthfulness of different types of people's lifestyles. What I have discovered is that everyone's needs are different. What you might consider being broke as compared to what I consider being broke can be worlds apart. But we might both be able to express our state the same way. Take for instance. I might say I am hungry and have eaten a decent meal in days. While you might express the same thing the same exact way. But the truth is a decent meal to me might be a three-course meal at the local steakhouse were as for you that might mean a value meal from Mcdonalds. So you have to have a level of discernment to know why, how and when to give anyone your money. Because you cannot really on the so-called facts that you're being presented with. Having some street smarts doesn't hurt either. Being naive is a dead giveaway to professional borrowers. They will drain you for your last dime each and every time. This is especially true when God is blessing you and increasing your household.

Mammon will often cause someone who is already connected to you to siphon God's increase from you. They are the family or friends that know your payday better than you do. They come up with the most creative stories that always end with them needing something from you right away. This is most often cold hard cash or your vehicle or some other item that they cannot do without but have no problem seeing you do without it. I talk about this in my article THIEVING SPIRITS. These are people that are assigned to destroy your wealth. If you could really see just how mammon uses people that we love and say they love us to thwart God's financial plans for our lives you would not have a hard time hating this guy just like the scriptures say we must in Matthew 6:24 "No Man can serve to masters. You must love one and hate the other, you cannot serve God and mammon." There is another story in the Bible that explains how God sees and feels about you allowing others that may or may not serve Him take part in or take advantage of the cup and table that he is preparing for you. Be careful when asking God to bless you with wealth because there may be people in your life currently that cannot and will not take part in what God has for you. Many times they will not make the journey with because they cannot. Too often do I see my client choose family over the Gods will for their financial well being. They rather live in poverty with the thief than in God's prosperity and peace. This is a travesty to the highest degree because they refuse to understand that whenever God is trying to get a level of wealth to them it is often because He is building a hedge of protection around them.

If money is a defense and it most certainly is then wealth is God's headge of protection. We must pray about who we give to and who we lend to. Lending to the poor is of God believe it or not. But there are some rules: If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as a usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury." Exodus 22:25 KJV

These are the people of God who for some unforeseen reason are coming up short financially. This is the industry that we have allowed criminals to rule in the form of loan sharks, high-interest payday loans, and hard money lenders. It is high time for the people of God to put a stop to this blatant sin before God's eyes. These institutions have simply taken advantage of millions of people due to the fact that we as Christians are not doing the word.

But there are times when we need to give money to those in need that don't have the ability to repay. We should provide it in the spirit of not receiving it back even if they offer to pay it back. For this God has given us an assurance that this type of giving is not in vain.

"He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD, and that which he hath given will he pay him again." Proverbs 19:17 KJV

God, Himself will guarantee that loan. Wow, how wonderful is that. If you never receive it on this side of glory, you can rest assured that your gifts have made room for you in heaven. It is in this way that the Apostle Paul told Timothy that we lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven.

"Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life." 1 Tim. 6:17-19 KJV

Give to the one that is truly in need and lend to those that are in greed. I use the word greed because the truth is the word has a good and bad meaning. There is a good type of greed that is necessary to motivate you to go out and fight for what rightfully belongs to you. We only hear of the bad type of greed that happens we someone is trying to take more than their share of the wealth that God has so masterfully stocked this planet with. These types of people need a loan, not a gift. Lending to the greedy is a fates way of leveling things out in the long run. It is only fair that a portion of the profit that they took from someone else be paid back to where it came from. This is what we call business, and business is war. Money is a currency and it must at all cost keep moving. Mammon's job is to prove the providence of God. He did not lose this responsibility just because he along with the other Gods went rogue. God still holds them to the original purpose they were created. And the rules are still the same. The only thing that has changed is where he will end up. So, be and/or become the best steward that you can be. All of heaven is counting on you literally.
